Brooksville Morning Sky
While driving to work Tuesday morning I observed something very peculiar.I doubt anyone else saw it, this isn't a populated area, it's very rural.
I leave for work about 5:15 a.m., so it's still very dark.
I was driving South on Lelani Drive, and just got to the intersection of Centralia Road, about 5:30 a.m.
It's a Tee, Centralia runs East & West.
I looked to my right, and the sky was lit up behind the clouds, I thought to myself I should stop and get a picture, but figured my phone would let me down for quality.
It just looked so cool, I assumed it was the nearly full Moon behind the clouds.
I turned left on Centralia drove maybe half a mile, and I'll be damned if the sky didn't light up in the exact same way.
Looking just as awesome as it looked to the West moments before.
I couldn't tell in my rearview mirror if it was still lit, I have a dark tint in the rear window.
The lit sky stayed lit traveling East until I made a turn onto Sunshine Grove Road.
It made me realize what I originally thought was the Moon, wasn't.
And it made me sorry I didn't take a picture either of the 2 chances I had.
Because I can't find anything online similar enough to do what I saw justice, here is something I pieced together.
The bright area isn't nearly bright enough, but it's the best I could do.
Like I say, the chances of anyone else seeing this are very slim, But maybe someone else saw something close to this in their life.
