Strip of Flashing White Lights
As I was looking at the near horizon there was clearly a strip of flashing white lights moving very slowly horizontally for 5 to 10 seconds.Then in a flash this object darted up and to the left at a about a 70° angle and vanished.
I was a young girl of approximately 10 years of age, and immediately went into the dwelling on the base at Fort Leavenworth and told 2 people and was told that I was imagining things. I will never forget it.
This was in the mid 1960s and in the middle of the day.
